May 11, 2014 in town, 83 East Main Street, Route 22, Garret’s in camera and Brother Bill Toffey, one of three cemeteries, famous people worldwide, Great-Grandfathers, John James and wife, Mary Elizabeth Sip Toffey, small graves stone in left.

Middle big stone, 2nd great-grandparents, George Akin and Mary D. Cook Toffey. George's father, Daniel Toffey front of “twenty-one Toffey” in backyard on Quaker Hill. George's five children's, Daniel II (down grave), George Toffey Jr., William Vermilye Toffey I (down grave, Uncle to my dad, William Vermilye Toffey III in back of Christ Church in Quaker Hill), John's sister, right, Mary Toffey and husband, William Bailey Wheele in grave stoner. And last one (left) stone, John James and Mary ‘Sip’ Toffey.

My hero, John James Toffey in Hudson City, NJ, now part of Jersey City, 18, 33rd NJ Volunteers, wounded, Missionary Ridge, Tennessee, "Medal of Honor" in Civil War in Washington, D.C.

Also, he had the unique distinction of witnessing the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, in Washington, D.C. on April 14, 1865 at Ford's Theatre, and John J. Toffey, "While sitting looking at the performance about haft-past 10 o'clock..."

After Civil Wall end John’s father, George Toffey, two brother, Daniel and John working in a Beef Exporting Business in Jersey City. Their firm was one of first to export dressed beef oversea visited to England and Scotland to open new markets for the company!
